An unlicensed minicab driver has been jailed for 10 years for raping a passenger and molesting another.

Mohamad Caid, 38, of Deptford, illegally touted for fares at Charing Cross station last May.

He was found guilty of rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and false imprisonment at Woolwich crown court.

He drove his first victim, 19, to Lewisham and sexually assaulted him.

Five days later, he raped an 18-year-old man he had picked up outside a club and taken to Fenchurch Street.

I don't wish to detract from this horrendous crime, but how is this scumbag an unlicensed minicab driver? :?

If he picked up illegally from the street in an unlicensed vehicle surely he was an unlicensed cab driver.

To me if he was an unlicensed driver in an unlicensed vehicle he is just a car driver and nothing else.

Surely if he has no license he is neither a cab driver or a ph driver just a violent sex offender on the prowl nothing to do with the trade at all
