120 taxis where checked last night in Galashiels, the traffic police came round at 11.30 PM and told us all to report for a VOSA check at a well lit covered car park at Tossers(Tesco)
After the checks some disappeared for some reason or other will try to find out
11.30PM is a bit harsh when you dont have no chance of replacing a blown bulb due to the garage not having any
Those who where asked to change them should know better always carry a supply of new ones

Half the cars Ive owned needed a trip to a garage to change the headlamp bulbs... such are the akwardness of the headlight design requiring the headlamp to be taken out.

No excuse I'm afraid.

But 11/30 pm? In prime earning time?

Ah but wait, it must be good ovies for the cops. Can't get in the way of ovies eh?

Or maybe it was the regular crew doing whatever they can not to trip over a hoodie, or a burglar or a taxi fare refusnik.

To think I used to respect the cops. Except the poor plod on the beat who's still to learn how to be a basterd, who's gonna do anything to help them?

Particularly the gestapo aspirant in Edinburgh's Waverley.
