If were standed in Spain or the South of France I wouldnt want rescued..id be quite happy to stay put :?

A mate of mine got a fight from Lanzarote to Bordeaux, 6 hour coach trip to St Malo, and 9 hour boat trip to Portsmouth.

Think I will stay at home for my hols this year.

weve driven down before, which i was considering again, but i couldnt do it in 1 session now, id need a stopover between lyon and nimes somewhere

just wish the santander crossing was cheaper

or motorail

Gordon Browns rescue mission seems to be working then.
He tells us that 3 warships are being deployed and then sends just one to Santander but he does not say that all the places on board were already allocated so people turn up only to find that they still can't get home.
He says that Madrid airport is to be a staging post and 100 coaches are on their way so people head for Madrid only to find that the staging post is only for people trying to get home from outside the Eu and the promised coaches are still in the UK and won't even leave until tomorrow.
AND THIS CHAP WANTS TO RUN THE COUNTRY FOR ANOTHER FIVE YEARS!
Pi55 up, brewery and organise are words that spring to mind.
