One of the women drivers had a runner for £8, she phoned the Police and they were at this house within 5 minutes. They went into the house arrested the guy and 1 other lad then, a woman came out and paid the driver the fare. She said to the Police are you going to release them? They said no, we are taking them to the Station to charge them with making off without payment  F***IN result.

Many moons ago had one copper try to tell me it was a civil court matter.... Asked for his name and number and that soon changed his tune!! Got my money back the next day including the cost of fare to collect it.....
