By the time all these budget cuts kick in, there won't be any point in handing over £250- £350 a week, to some numpty owner. It will be every man for himself.

A restriction on plates only leads to inequality, discrimination and the exploitation of drivers.

Things have to change

Yeah your so right skull we need more cabs and less earnings so those greedy owners cant exploit the downtrodden.

Your far better off earning 500 per week, less cab finance and radio fees, fuel and running costs than 1200 per week (figures according to AliT taxi baron) less 250 & fuel.

Power to the retards!

Restriction has fecked this trade CC, and now drivers are paying big rentals to earn buttons. Drivers need the flexibility of driving their own vehicles, while working the hours that suites them, not propping up someone else's little illusion. If there is not going to be a third way, then better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

York, is not the only place where drivers are waking up to the inequality of restriction. It simply has to stop. :-|

Strange you should say that from that side of the fence, because down here I'd say the opposite.

This society does not reward servitude. They may throw you a few scraps from the masters table but that's about it. :-|
