Whats to stop the so called gangsters moving away from private hire into the limo business, or any of the other businesses local authorities turn a blind eye to for that matter, such as 'executive hire' and 'airport transfers' ?

I would say if they had wanted to do that they would already.

However 'executive hire' and 'airport transfer' are no different than private hire.

If the iffy side of the trade went down that route they would be shining a big fat beacon on their activities. :wink:
