“We hope these convictions will serve as a warning to all those who are operating private hire and taxi businesses in the area. 
Peterboriugh city council really do live in cloud cuckoo land just how many similar prosecutions have they made over the last 20 years ? They aren't going to stop it there is a conveyer belt of drivers coming across from pakistan/bangladesh who are coming over to work in the "family Business" they would need an army of enforcement officers to police it properly |

The answer is in the names of the people being charged is why they received no penalty, especially in Peterborough, be nice to see the names of the people on the bench for the case. |

I suspect the sentence was what it was due to the bench not taking the offence as seriously as they should have. 0 out of 10 for those JPs I'm afraid.
I would imagine the council are super pi**ed off with such a sentence, considering the huge amount of work that goes into these prosecutions. |

Peterborough City council are one of the better ones at enforcement compared to other councils in the area but it is like king [edited by admin] ordering the waves back futile |
