Has anybody any infomation about PTS at Manchester airport. Gossip this morning on the rank is that a court ruled yesterday that these vehicles(registered in Berwick) had until midnight last night to be plated and drivers badged. That was impoosible due to the time frame and they were thrown off the airport at 0001 am. Cannot find any proof other than gossip.

I take it this is the firm that use to run under the 1976 exemption?

Let's hope a judge has said they should be licensed by Manchester, or to go back and work Berwick.

Maybe Berwick has told them to do one, as the judge suggested in the court case a couple of years ago?

Does'nt Berwick come under one great big Northumberland super council these days..the Old berwick borough council being consigned to the dustbin?

Does anyone know what Council Arrow cars come under at East Midlands Airport?? I've seen them with Nottingham plates, North East Leicestershire plates, Derby City Council plates. I think this could be a minefield if someone took them to task. Then again it is private land.

Gossip is a funny thing perpetuated by people who talk $hit and don't know their arses from their elbow's.

Gossip as gossip may be, but there is some skewed truth in the original post.

PTS UK Ltd have the contract to supply HCs at Brum Airport and as I work at the airport I have a contract with them.

When this story first appeared on here, I asked Mike the PTS gaffa about it. Now Mike's a guy who ain't scarred to tell you straight about whatever you want to know whether it's about some sh*t or diamonds. He was completely puzzled and denied that he was involved. He didn't even know the relevance of Berwick HC plates or their history.

Then about a week or so later an article appeared in Brian with a Y's rag and low and behold it's not a company called PTS but a company called PCS.

What a difference a letter makes to a rumour?

Bye gum!!!

And according to Brian with a Y, PCS were turfed off in Manchester.
