Ellesmere Port taxi driver committed suicide by decapitating himself

A TAXI driver died when he decapitated himself inside his private-hire car, an inquest heard this afternoon (Friday, August 27).

Stuart Roy Lester, 38, of Horstone Gardens, Great Sutton, was found slumped in the driver’s seat of his Cozey Cars cab on the car park of Ellesmere Port Market at 6.45am on Tuesday, January 19.

His body was discovered by a shocked supermarket worker on her way to work.

A paramedic confirmed that when he arrived at the scene Mr Lester’s head was missing from his body and what appeared to be rope was attached to a railing some distance behind the vehicle.

Mr Lester had suffered with depression since 2004.

 very sad indeed and I'd hate to have to wait 6 months before an inquest and to be able to have closure on a matter to complete what must have been a terrible grieving process for those left behind

It is sad when anyone takes their own life but, you have to experience the crap feeling in life when it gets to that stage.

People who suffer with depression don't know they are suffering from it until it's to late.

Doctors are dishing out anti depressants not knowing the full facts about the patient and how the medication will effect them.[/list]
