Taxi Driver Online

'Private' documents containing criminal convictions of local taxi drivers have been mistakenly publicised on East Lothian Council's website.
An oversight by the local authority led to the names, addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, driving licence numbers and, in some cases, criminal convictions of a dozen cab drivers being leaked onto the internet.

The papers, due to be scrutinised in private at a Licensing Sub Committee meeting, also contain notifications of complaints made against taxi drivers, complete with complainants' names and addresses.

Following a tip-off from a member of the public, the News was able to access the webpages and download a 94-page document disclosing written correspondence between a police inspector and the Licensing Board

I wonder if SKULL or JASBAR had anything to do with this.Whoever it was certainly made the council look silly

Many councils manage to make fools of themselves without any outside assistance
