Why is it.. that in most court cases involving PH drivers being prosecuted for flagging.. They're allowed to keep their license and badge. Because (they plead) to disqualify them would cause financial hardship....

Do they think Taxi drivers sit there because the arse end view of a stationary TX4 does it for us.....

They (along with the rest of their type) cost each night driver in Northampton over £4500 each year.. I went the proper way and studied to pass the knowledge. Then spent > £32,000 on the proper vehicle and £1400 for the insurance.

Now I watch some thick muppets (not a generalisation, just specific bodies in mind) in 15 year old Nissans that they bought in the auction for £400 and plated as a PHV, as they repeatedly sit unchallenged outside MacDonalds 40 metres from the town centre rank blatently soliciting.. and taking money out of the hackney trade's sole income..

Northampton Borough Council refuse to use the vast amount of money generated in PH and Hackney licensing to actually police the rules thet THEY lay down.

Northants Police refuse to get involved because 'it's not an area of statistical importance' (Inspector Dave Reyfield of Campbell Square Police station).

So, who's going to help me in my financial hardship. Lambard finance didn't... Abbey Mortgage wouldn't.. DHSS won't..

Yes... it's them PH driver who oporate illegally. They're the stupid ones....
