Before anyone starts on me, this information has come from a member of the NLcA who for reasons that will become obvious, wants to remain annonymous.
I have been told that a member has allegedly been taking money from the NLcA for a while now. The sums involved, so I am told are quite considerable and may include around £1000 from the VAT fighting fund and a lot more from the members account.
obviously as a non member I don't have any real interest in this but it would be nice to know just what is going on and I am sure the NLcA members on here should be kept informed and the whole thing needs reporting to the police for investigation. I am told that the books have not been seen by members, or even the chairman for quite a while.
Maybe someone will have the balls to tell the truth.

Ha ha, I have been banned from the limochat forum for exposing this matter. The chap who allegedly took the money without the knowlege of the rest of the committee took the decision to ban me from the forum and then posted that unless I posted an appology by Monday he was seeing his solicitor. That's a good one, post an apology on a forum that I can't log into. :lol:

They exposed themselves by owning up to taking the money. But said that it was all agreed with the committee. he was paying himself £100 per week. The committee say that this was never agreed.

What was never agreed?

That he was to pay himself, OR that he was to pay himself £100?

These are totally different issues; one is a matter of principle, the other a matter of scale!!!

The internal workings and politics of organisations are always fraught I have recently quit as a committee member for the local branch of the FSB over similar internal politics
