Hi All

I had a very good meeting with cabs officer this morning, we had a very good discussion and he put me right on a few things and listened to what i had to say.
He also made me aware that he had seen my comments on the forum so i will have to be more complementary in future.Maybe we should visit the Police forum and see what they are discussing.I also told him that i do not hide my identity and use this forum to discuss taxi issues and have a lot of banter like most forums.

I have removed the emails because i do not think it will help our situation to have made public personal emails. On reflection i have probably been a bit Hastie to make theses public i apologise if anyone was offended, it is only going to make matters worse what is needed is dialogoue .

I will contiue to have my say on the forum as i believe in freedom of speech and continue with my efforts to make my Job better :)

This is Scotland.....Whats a Tory?

We are up sh*t creek up here, if we vote Tory in the national elections because we like their Ideas then its a vote that means bugger all north of the border simply because we have a second tier of idiots in the scottish parliament that are SNP and Labour orientated...and all they do is to override the westminster goverment and then continue with the same old crap of spending outwith our means then blaming the english.

Where as in england common sense is returning..up here in political Ga Ga land it just the same old same old forever...

Its a real sh*t position to be in....vote for something nationally then get bugger all locally

You get most of your money via the mob in London, and they are currently run by true blue cut this that and the other Tories.

We are all licensed as drivers to operate on a 24 hour basis.

Therefore, licensing enforcement, if it is to stand a chance of being effective should also be a 24 hour business, Nottingham do it & Brum does it too now, to a fashion.

The DfT should be lobied to make all LAs enforce the law on a 24 hour basis.
