Busiest weekend of the year for the trade is not going to happen this year.

Kind of ironic, Market cancelled due to snow. Oh well.

Don't they run special trains for that from other parts of the country ? I think a lot of bus companies rail companies and of course cabbies are going to lose a lot of money would have looked quite pretty all those market stalls in the snow :D

Mind you its been quite bad up there luckily for us the big snow fall tuesday night didn't make it south of Grotsville we got 5cm last night though still not as bad as last year in the south of the county

The special trains have been cancelled too.

More snow today, which would have been the first day of the market.

Nowhere for hundreds of coaches to park. (Usually RAF Scampton)

No park and ride, (usually Lincolnshire Showground)

Deep snow everywhere, cancellation the only option.

Been busy enough today with stagecoach suspending all services, when all the main roads in the City were.... well a little bit damp?

The place I stayed at in Lincoln was telling me about the market and how they've been booked up for that period for nearly a year, it seems the effects will be felt by all businesses

Nothing beats Lincoln Market on the run upto Christmas, there's nothing like it in the UK, the Mulled wine on sale is special.

I went a few years back and I have to say that I was very dissapointed by it. Seemed to be a load of overpriced food stalls.
