Post subject:  Dear Dougie, this is how power really works ....

A direct analogy.

For Britain’s politicians, the documents offer a long-needed slap in the face. Successive governments, of all parties, support these destructive US policies because they believe we have influence with the Americans. But these cables show the Americans literally laugh at them and their sycophancy, describing their servility in mocking tones in cables back home, saying “it would be humorous if it were not so corrosive.”

The Independent , December 8, 2010

This article refers to the US's difficulty over the wikileaks disclosures, but the relationship is the same in all power structures. The control group use subservient interests for its own ends.

For US government read City of Edinburgh Council.

For UK government read Edinburgh's taxi trade barons and vested interests.

For destructive US policies read CEC's policy of restriction that has given our market away to PH and the bus company.

For sycophancy and servility, just look in a mirror.

TOO late for your Anti Americanisation of the UK, We have more in common with America than we ever have with Europe!!! except you of course, you come across right wing GERMAN   Commie's here mine host

The Tories want to replace the HUMAN RIGHTS act with a new BILL OF RIGHTS

As you know i think the NEW YORK regulated Taxi system should be brought in to Edinburgh, drug test's an aw, you would be first in the queue

Scotland actually faired really well with the Wikileak disclosures (SNP), The Megrahi release showed that Scotland acted to the letter of the law, knocking back favours from Libya, In the Freemason world though you could say that Scotland is the capital of America, the order of the THISTLE being the highest honour

Now if you ask any European on his opinion of the UK he/she will tell you that (a) We are the laughing stock of Europe and (b) We are totally Americanised or is that the other way about

I accept how power works :D

Quality Dougie, throw you some bait and you swallow it hook, line and sinker. You're clearly intoxicated by your perception and aspiration to power

I see the headline now, "Edinburgh Cabbie disappears".

Behind the story? Dougie spirited away to a Pentagon secret location to be dissembled so that American and supplicant UK dark forces can learn from their success in progamming him into sycophancy and servility in order that the same societal stupor can be infected into the rest of the herd

We could call the movie "The Dougie Matrix"

Norrie from Corrie could play you Dougie

My God Dougie, you are a complete plank. The Scottish Government let Megrahi go. The Wikileak disclosures only point to one thing, that there was a dialogue going on behind closed doors as to how, when, and why Megrahi would be released. Pressure was undoubtedly applied and Megrahi, released.

Kenny MacAskill lied. Compassionate grounds for Megrahi's release were just a convenient smokescreen.

It is true

Libya put Megrahi up although there is a plausible conspiracy as to who carried out the lockerbie bombing, it could have been retaliation to the Iranian plane that was shot down by the Americans, The assumption is the Palestinians carried it out and bankrolled via many backers.

But ask yourself why did Libya put Megrahi up? I think they thought a not guilty verdict was a gimmie, or had other reason's but they put Megrahi up!!! The Americans wanted a conviction, it's funny how 2 go on trial, 1 guilty and 1 not guilty, The Americans accepted this, compromise springs to mind.

The big loser was Scotland, this was not meant to happen over Scotland, but it did and ironically this fact was a good thing for the Americans, because Scottish Law would alway's be the loser no matter what the outcome was.

My previous post tells the rest of MY theory but as you probably know i discussed this with George Galloway on Talk sport, George was going down a different route to my view, George wrote a whole piece in the Daily Record a few weeks later with my View, i even got a mention in George's funny way, but George see's it as Damage limitation to the Scottish Justice system.

I don't care if you view my post as crap but it is MY view, this one Case could have done serious damage to our Justice system, Compromise was the solution, The American politicians armed thereselfs with propaganda including Hilary Clinton but that's all it was propaganda, No long term damage to Scotland and Hey Megrahi dies a guilty man, just what the Americans wanted in the first place.

I accept how power works
