FFS youd think it was magic, a black art, alien technology

all it is is a bodyshell (got them) on 2 axles (got them) with a leccy motor (old as the hills) and some batteries (even older)

stick on some solar panel chargers, KERS to store energy, and onboard charging (1 ltr of red per HOUR) and its sorted...

if i had a unit id do it myself

If it's not the same size does that mean you can't fit a wheelchair in it?

Why bother....The wheelchair user might go further faster in their leccy wheelchairs/Carts than in that Darth Vader Helmet-mobile... :roll:

what your looking at is the unavoidable future

the fact is that after investing millions/billions in engine design and production plants companies like Ford do not want electric vehicles, thats why we are still saddled with 40mpg cars, when in reality, given increases in technology, they SHOULD be able to produce a 100mpg Ford focus, they just dont want to
