I'm gonna ventue out tonite,

But I know Christmas Eve is a nono.

So, why do we start our big meter at six o'clock?

Do PH increase their rates at that time?

I think it's quite the reverse.

If it wasn't for the inefficient workings of the taxi trade there would be no PH.

Our Bank holiday rate statrs at midday today........our super dooper time and a half statrts at 6pm.

We're on standard rate till 11pm, then it's +50% till 6am , when we go to +25% till 11pm again. The same rates/times apply on Boxing Day.

Then it's standard fare till 11pm on the 31st when the above is repeated.

PH exact same.

Fare + 50% here from 10pm tonight until 5am on the 27th.
Same from 10pm on 31st until 5am on the 3rd.

does to me as well, but I'm wrong on the start time d'oh. :oops:

we start T3 at 9pm not 11pm. After 15 yrs in the trade in this area you'd think I'd know. :sad:

We went to rate and a half at midnight last night. We go to double fare at midnight tonight until 7.00am on the 28th.

The Shore to the Bush estate. Quoted £25 to £30.

It clocked £36.

I gave it for the top price £30 I quoted.

It's really silly boys.

This was just a wee lassie and her boyfriend going home to mum for Christmas.

Common sense has to prevail, surely?

agree fully. you probably kept a customer away from PH at little cost (in real terms to you) by doing so.
