Cab driver charged over Halifax woman's death

Lisa Saville was found with serious head injuries on City Lane A 42-year-old taxi driver has been charged with causing the death of a 19-year-old woman who was found with serious head injuries.

Lisa Saville, 19, was fatally wounded in City Lane in Halifax in the early hours of Friday.

Ms Saville is thought to have travelled to City Lane after getting into a Hackney carriage-style taxi.

The driver is due at Calderdale Magistrates' Court to face a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
