Thank you. You rose to the bait.

Yes we need more taxis. Because drivers need to have the fullest control of the working affairs. That's their right. That's their Human Right.

I need my own taxi to work when the demand is there. When customers need the service.

If we come out when the demand exists, and work is there for all of us, the perhaps desperados like the scumbag P63 won't feel a need to wipe other drivers.

But then, perhaps you condone drivers stealing from other drivers. Stealing from you?

So Hammy, an unrestricted market would deliver the best possible outcome for drivers.

And that's all I'm concerned with.

It appears the bold Asian brothers whom I believe own the BP Ratcliffe and the Jet Bruntsfield are charging £1.39p per litre.

They know how to charge these Asian boys.

Ah, but wait. Both forecourts proudly display a big sign saying "Cheap fuel here", with words underneath saying "two days a week".

Ratcliffe's in loadsamoney land, and Bruntsfield's in desperate passing trade country.

No probs then. But the taxi trade should avoid these greedos.

What you guys need is a Posivflo fuel saver.

Saves me around £4 for every hundred miles.

Do a search on Ebay. 8)

Have to say that the filliing stations highlighted are the usual suspects when it comes to expensive fuel.

I wouldn't buy fuel at any of them.

I've noticed a few cabs from down south heading for Aberdeen Airport, mostly Angus or Dundee plates, filling up at the Esso station on the A90 next to the Haudagain roundabout.

This place is the most expensive in the city, usually about 3-4p more than the others.
There's a couple of shell garages between there and the airport which are much cheaper.
