| Post subject: | Dundee Taxi Drivers - NO benefit for YOU capping taxis |
Although asked many times, Stationtone and others won't answer the question how Dundee's taxi drivers can benefit from a taxi cap. It's not gonna give you more work in the short term, it's going to mean more private hire to reduce your work in the longer term. If there was any real benefit for you, wouldn't they be tripping over themselves to tell us, to persuade us it was the right thing to do. But they're just cranking up their own interests cranking up restriction cranking up the shortage of taxis that will follow cranking up the new plate value they will force new entrants to the trade to pa and cranking up the extra rental they will force drivers like YOU to pay This is what they won't tell you, this is what they are desperately seeking to avoid you considering. Truth is There is no benefit for Dundee's taxi drivers with a cap on taxis. |

jimmy boy, Why is it that you are taking such a big interest in Dundee? Is it because you are a laughing stock and are generally ignored by all sides in Edinburgh? Answer the questions. |

Take care Tone, As jimmy boy is "comfortable" with rape, he could be waiting round any corner! As gary is doing a bit of painting and decorating, jimmy might be looking elsewhere for his pleasures. |

All very droll children. Why are you avoiding the answers? Anytime you're asked the question you avoid telling us what benefit a cap would bring to drivers. You're hoping the smokescreen of childish personal attacks will mask the truth. And it is clear to everyone that There is no benefit to drivers of capping taxis in Dundee, or anywhere else for that matter. Doesn't get any clearer than that. However, if any Dundee taxi driver would care to tell us why he is convinced by the vested interests racking up their plate values and hiked rentals that he is going to benefit, then feel free to tell us. Or is there something in the Dundee Taxi Driver psyche that wants owners to get a plate "value" while gets the threat of being excluded from working if his face doesn't fit, hiked rentals and more private hire coming out of the woodwork that will take his work from him?
