After a lengthy discussion with a Council Official i was happy to be informed that the consultation regarding the capping of the City, will climax in late June and, a Licensing Meeting will be convened to disclose the outcome. DCC will at the meeting, implement a Policy which will be unchallengeable as they are aware of all legal requirements of them to do so.
Hopefully this will bring an end to the current situation within the Trade regarding, equality and a level playing field also, i cannot foresee a further fare increase in 2011 due to the refusal of DCC's proposed increase in November 2010 by DTA/Unite. This refusal not only cost the Trade by requesting a Traffic Commissioner's Report, it has also cost the Trade any further revenue for the foreseeable future.
