Thats only the start, a previous meeting with council and the work and pensions people we were told that the council and government will be cross referencing info and anyone who is claiming benefits when working will be caught and prosecuted . What will also happen is that absent parents will also be investigated by the CSA and anyone who has shirked their responsibility's will have to pay.
Until the council change their policy of having meetings behind closed doors then we cannot name and shame benefit cheats or people who have dodged paying for there kids.

Is this a conjoined DTA/Unite proposal ? If so, why do they not request a proper witch hunt and root out all hired plate operators, badge holders who do the hiring, etc.. :?

The reason for the clamp down is not due to the DTA or unite it is people telling porkies on forms and licence applications.
The DTA have for a number of years asked for suspension hearings to be held in public like other cities .
If you have evidence that someone is hiring out there plate you should contact the cabs officer.

In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity.
