Three men appeared in court accused of robbing a taxi driver of his mobile phone.
James Jones, 20, of Tremayne Road, Bilborough, and brothers Mitchell Langon, 23, and Shaun Langon, 19, of Trentham Drive, Aspley, are charged with robbery on March 28 at 4am.
It was alleged at Nottingham Magistrates' Court that they robbed the driver while he was parked in University Boulevard.
The men are charged with interfering with a vehicle and Mitchell Landon is charged with racially aggravated threatening behaviour.
Jones was bailed to appear at Crown Court on April 6. Mitchell Langon and Shaun Langon were remanded in custody.
