Man kidnapped and robbed by gang
A 50-year-old man has been abducted and robbed of £60 on his way home from a night out in Bedford.
The man, not named by police, was walking along Conduit Road in the early hours of Saturday morning when a group of three men bundled him into a car.

They took him to a spot known as Lovers Lane in Kleat Hill and attacked him taking all the money he had.

He made his escape on Parrey's Avenue at about 0130 BST and was helped by two girls at a taxi rank.

The car is described as a dark blue Astra or Vectra and had a distinctive number plate.

All the offenders are of mixed race and aged between 20 and 25.
