Whats it Like getting around Edinburgh centre these days with all the fechin debacle of them digging up and relaying all the tramlines on Princes Street? Luckily I've managed to avoid runs to the centre of Edinburgh, No doubt I'll be asked to take someone there soon.

Will it get a Sh1tload worse when they start laying track westwards towards the Airport?

Lastly.....hows it going to work for you Edinburgh cabbies and every other driver when the trams are up and running, will they not tend to be big long mobile chicanes thats gonna fech up driving everywhere they go?

It is an absolute shambles,Haymarket in the morning is just a F*****G disgrace, along with just about everywhere in the city centre, the tracks will be out of sight (near enough after haymarket),Can you imagine the carnage when their up and running? With the pedestrians weve got and the average edinburgh driver being a fecking MORON it'll be something else!!!
in a word FARCE

Is a nightmare to say the least!! Shutting Russell Road at the same time is madness and there is still the rumour that West Maitland St will be closed when the trams run as the street is too narrow :?

Sounds like a giant recipe for disaster.....what did the good people of edinburgh do so wrong that the council decided to punish them by inflicting the Tram on them?

What have the folk of the Borders done to be afflicted with a white elephant train line at a present cost of £280 mill and counting, and no track in sight yet

At least the Rails wont be on the Roads. Its another Instance where the vocal minority get their way over the Silent majority, I have not yet one person that wants this rail line. Man, they are spending money like there was no tomorrow..unbelievable!!

£5 million to pay for pensions for Tie employees. yet another bill for taxpayers.

But the jobs with Tie were always going to be shoert term contracts. So, why were they given pension provision in the first place?
