The new cabs that are EU4 cannot be sold, for use in London
The seller could be in breach of EU laws
All new vehicles must be EU 5 compliant from the factory of manufacture, and not just modified in a back street work shop, like the TX will be
How will TFL get around this one when they say all new cabs must be EU5 from Jan 1st 2012

If you could tell us where you are as well...

...to the nearest planet would be close enough.

Right due to the new 15 year age limit, and euro 5 coming in in Jan 2012, any cab sales room in London will not be able to sell a TX4 to any potential owner due to them still being euro 4.
They are not by law permitted to modify any of them,in house, to try and make them euro 5, as only the manufacturer can do this
They can however still sell to anyone outside London

All vehicles sold in Europe from 1st Jan will be euro 5 compliant. LTI have already converted theirs, so no story here then. The only thing worth noting is that LTI's particulate filter has pushed the price of the vehicle up 3 grand. Retrofit filters from other companies only cost around 1.8k.
