Can't wait for the Bells. And like Janus I'll be looking forward. 2012 I'm going to be different. I'm going to keep my New year's Resolution. And this year's is to tell people what I really think of them and attack injustice at every opportunity.   Stay safe everyone and enjoy. BTW If you see any wee lassies being assaulted because they can't get a cab, dinnae fash yirsel. Just take solace in that your vested interest is being protected and they are only just your collateral damage.

I don't suppose it will surprise anyone to know. I hate the New Year and all of this good will to all men crap. The quicker it's over, the better. It's like everything goes into limbo, and all this false sentiment, does my fecking brains in.  There is one exception, I like to see the kids enjoy themselves at Christmas but as for the rest of it, you can keep it, give me chaos any day of the week. Bah humbug

I like the idea that some people get together and have a good time. But, to a degree, it is all a bit false. Still I look forward to all the Skippys of my manor telling me how much they earnt, and I didn't, on this night. I wish them all a safe night, but I would sooner eat s*** than work New Year Eve's night ever again.

A number of years ago, I picked up an Australian student who'd been attacked and robbed and dropped him at the Royal Infirmary Emergency Unit (a freebie, I might add). It was like fecking Beirut, good will to all men, my ar*e. I off loaded the Aussie to a cop who told me, I would have to wait and give a statement, as they were very busy. I just looked at him, shook my head in disbelief and drove away.  I look back now and wonder if it was all a dream. Thank feck, never again!

Worked last night, waste of time ! Dundee City Council should hang their head in shame ! there was absolutely nothing laid on for the City and anyone who was unfortunate enough to be visiting. As for earnings ? it was about as profitable as a venue that was hosting Gary Glitter's comeback concert ! I would say Happy New Year to one and all but, we all know different ! |
