Taxi destroyed in fire on Aberdeen street
Police probe into blaze

Evening Express 2/1/12


A TAXI was destroyed in an Aberdeen fire today, sparking an investigation.

Grampian Police and Grampian Fire and Rescue Service were probing the incident which saw the taxi burned out in an Aberdeen street.

The car was found on fire at about 12.45am today on Heathryfold Drive, Aberdeen.

The paper has the name of the street wrong and it doesn't seem to be an accident.

A second taxi has also been torched in the same street.
More details as I get them.

Do you get the feeling that, maybe the person torching the taxis was making exactly that point? It looks very personal to me. I wouldn't be surprised if the dirty deed was intended before Christmas, but maybe the opportunity was missed. :-|
