Kenya believe it? Cabbie to cycle 400km

E HULL: A city taxi driver is preparing for a 400km bike ride across Kenya to raise money for women's cancer charities.

Bella Wilkinson, 44, will leave the UK for the challenge on Saturday.

The ride will take five days, but she will spend a total of ten days in the country.

Bella, of east Hull, will raise money for charities which help women with breast, ovarian and cervical cancer.

She said: "I'm so excited and I can't wait to get there.

"I have been training."

"Failure is not an option and I will do it."

"I'm the only person from Hull taking part."

"But there are about 100 women in the group."

Bella previously completed a similar challenge in Cuba, raising money for childhood cancer charities and causes which help premature babies, in 2008.
