New York Times 23rd of January 2012 "Several people with knowledge of the company’s plans said that Google’s lobbying for state laws to permit autonomous driving indicated that it hoped to introduce such vehicles soon — driverless delivery vans or taxis, as early as 2013 or 2014". http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/24/techn ... osium.html |

They can introduce what they want, but will people get in them? Will other road users be pleased such vehicles are sharing the road with them. On paper it might seem such a clever idea, but it will never take off in our lifetime. |
