The now world famous boat race protester, Trenton Oldfield an "anti elitist" (bit like the Father Ted protest, "down with that sort of thing") also suggests waiters should serve cold food to "elitists"

And also that taxi drivers should take their passengers on the slowest and most expensive routes possible in protest at their "elite status"

What a prat.

So he interrupts a sporting event which is being watched by tens of thousands for free.

That makes sense.

Yes.

Just because an individual thinks something is not to his taste doesn't give him carte-blanche to ruin people's enjoyment.

Rowing might not be everyone's cup of tea, and might be popular with toffs, but FFS is that the best the working class can come up with?

You could argue the same as the protesters that camped outside St Paul's! that probably caused more of a problem than the above for the average person.

The Rowing game is definitely a toffs indulgence..............and that is what he is hitting back at - as ever there are casualties (and I do not mean him) albeit minor!!

The fight should be taken to the people who cause these problems - and that is what he has done.

So toffs aren't allowed to enjoy themselves? :?

Perhaps some would rather not have a toffs enjoyment interupted.....................so would a working mans enjoyment be more preferable - Oh dear the Queens goes there, so I suppose this is out of bounds - just another nutter at work some will say!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - or is it the wheel of life working its way around.

In fairness to the toffs.....in days gone by they did actually whip people to row the boats for them

I just can't see how anyone can support an Aussie stopping the Boat Race because toff like a bit of rowing.

FFS how shallow and pathetic are the working classes if we have to rely on some nutty immigrant to defend us?

I cannot see it as such about stopping enjoyment! It is more about as I see it, an opportunity with an audience (world wide) to show that there are other ways to skin a cat.

We as a nation are literally watching " A Rome burning situation", and are doing nothing at all about it. This guy from wherever (does it matter) has got the balls to stand up and be counted, as such we do need help, and I would personally take it from anywhere to stop the rot.

Make no mistake this is Colonial Britain still pillaging and stealing - only now it is from their own people , so where does/how does it all end? on that one I am not too sure, but slagging off/denigrating someone who is trying to do something about it - is not the answer.
