Yeah, with plenty of bodyguards incase it went wrong, like a free bet in a way, and had that been me or you reacting on a punter like that where do you think our badges would be now.

Like them or loathe them, the cyclist lobby in London has grown beyond all expectations over the last decade, and when you get people like Mark Cavendish slagging Adduson Lee off on Twitter, politicians take notice, certainly Boris and Ken do.

There's now a demo against Griffin on Monday organised by various cycling interest groups.
