Tut-tut Sussex :badgrin:

However, there are drivers in my manor who think nothing of using the ranks while they go on shopping trips. If you talk to them about it, they just seem to regard it as a perk of the job, and never mind the drivers who can't get onto the rank because of them

And not forgetting our friend Mr Muldoon from Edinburgh, who found a loophole in the parking regulations and trumpeted that it might mean 'free parking for all taxis in Edinburgh'. =;

No wonder he was caught out with his claim about how well behaved the taxi drivers in Edinburgh were and how badly behaved the PH drivers were. :-$

Big fat porkie.
The bloke whos the chairman of the best Streamline 747474 got a ticket a while back for parking on a rank near the main shopping center.

Funny he was taking an old dear into it as well. :wink:

I think porky is spot on.

We have ranks at three main stations, and sometimes there is a large gap between trains. So some of the drivers park up and go and do their shopping, or have their lunch.

They then come back and take their place on the rank. :sad:
