Airport to take taxis in-house

GLASGOW Airport is to take control of its taxi services, four years after a private firm was brought in to manage the cabs.

A spokeswoman said the contract to manage taxis would be taken in-house following a review of how its manages its forecourt.

The decision was attacked by Glasgow Airport Taxi, which has managed taxi services to the airport. Henry Glasgow, managing director, said he was "devastated" by the decision, adding: "We have provided a seamless operation for more than four years."

Yeah too true, but now the bunger has got bunged out, in a real world of fairness we'd be entitled to charge things like the airport and stations a fee each time we drop someone there, never mind hitting the customer for it simply return the favour of what is illegal charges back to them,

They only get away with it because if one says no I'm not doing another runs in and says I will, this is good news to me, whoever he is he has a fleet of cabs that are basically redundant now, and now he knows how the Hackney felt when they sold their business to the highest bidder, good for the goose, good for the gander.

BAA, who own the gig, because we allowed them to steal it from we taxpayers, are legendary when it comes to making punters' pips squeak.

They are a money grabbing profit oriented scam, and they see an opportunity to make more money here.

Nothing new there then.
