Errmmm? and your point is Ollie?

The PCO have always done this, most of the above will have had their licences revoked under medical grounds, eyesight etc.

Still nice to see the 'ph' side outdoing the taxi drivers in numbers again

I see that no proper LPH driver has lost his license, only those that have been issued temp permits.

Shame that can't be said about the other side. :D :D

I was under the impression the PCO refer to them as permits, wether temp or not.

So the ones with the lower numbered permits must have been waiting about a year. :?:

The term 'badge' is of course reserved for the elite Taxi side of the trade.

You could be right, but I thought the permits were issued to those drivers who were already in the 'minicab' trade, but hadn't yet been asked by the PCO to be licensed.

Once they are licensed, then they become an 'Ollie', who's more than happy to be legit. :D

No they are Licences all right and of course all Licenced Private Hire Drivers are required to wear their Badge whilst working just the same as the elite.

Thanks for that confirmation.

Talking about being classed as the same, have you noticed that on the PCO site, LPH and taxis are all classed a cabs now.
