Perhaps?!

I have it on good authority that once again the E7 is going to be presented for licensing at SGS, the PCO agents who test our cabs and plate them.

Any refusal this time will mean instant action through the courts, just like in Liverpool.

Will the PCO pizz our money against the wall defending the indefensable, or will they look at the rest of the country and see sense?

I can see a big uptake on the E7, at £30K for the top spec auto version it will be rather attractive for airport and suburban drivers. Its quite comfy, smooth and roomy.

I also inderstand KPM / Penso are fully behind the case as it means their Vito can dump the rear wheel steer and drop the price whilst they are at it.

Fingers crossed.

I think LTI's main problem is their motors are increasing unable to take more and more wheelchairs.

Folks are getting fatter and heavier, yet the TX range is really only able to take quite small wheelchairs.

It is time a size limit was put in place which normal taxis can take a wheel chair up to that size then any oversize people in wheelchairs should have to make there own arrangements and not expect every taxi to be of a size that the larger people can fit

think of them what you like, but down here we call them the "bread van" and everyone whos ever bought one has inevitably replaced it with a tx.

many customers refuse to get into them, they'd rather wait for a tx...

Strange coz round here people would rather get in anything other than a TX.

Yeah, heard all that with the Vito when it first appeared, and i'm sure 'some' punters still prefer the TX.

The feeder park at Heathrow which holds about 800 Taxis is now jammed packed with Vitos, and punters often by pass the TX's on the ranks to get in my, and other shining examples.

Speaks volumes!

Look around Edinburgh, whats the ratio of E7's and Vito sales to TX's? My own eyes tell me LTI has dropped into 3rd. So Peugeot and Mercedes must be doing something right.

I think LTI's biggest problem is their power units keep failing, and they keep denying anythings wrong.

I suspect if the COF's are reviewed and come out in favour of more choice, or they are told by a court to do so, LTI will quickly go back to 3rd place.

There was a LOT of interest down at the demo the other day. =D>

everyone with a E7 ( AKA a scudo) has only one thing to say about them......crap

our LA allows them but not traffics or VW transporters, in fact they have ONLY allowed Tourneos and E7's (in addition to TX things), taking 8 in a TX 120 miles WITH luggage isnt feasible really though is it
