We just say it was a passenger who I picked up at A and dropped off a B.

Leave the rest to them.

Quote:
Last year nine million drivers - nearly a fifth of all motorists - threw litter from their cars.

Fechin load of Sh*te....They have no way of knowing how many Drivers through rubbish from cars or whether it was drivers or passengers or whether it was one million drivers throwing out nine bits of rubbish our per annum.

If these LA anusholes spent less money on creating speculative guesstimates and more money on a clean up policy then it may be money better spent.. #-o

I would guess that they carried out a survey of say 100 motorists and 20 of them said that they had thrown rubbish from the car. From this they can say that statistically 20% of motorists threw rubbish. But if 9 million is 20% of motorists then there must be 45 million motorists in the country.

And by applying the Maths £863 Million clean up costs Divided by 9 Million Bits of rubbish = £95.88 per piece of litter they clean up, FFs, just how much are they paying these roadsweepers, That's £383.55 just to pick up 4 bits of litter a week!!

That would probably be about right. Just look at the management fee being paid to G4S for not managing the Olympic security.

If theye'd only asked me, I could have "Not Managed" the Olympic security for a damned sight less.

Strange this should come up now, we were made aware that it is the driver who is held responsible for litter being thrown out of the cars about 18 months ago :?

As I said.............this has probably been covered before. Having said that it would seem that it was just "Paper" talk at the time, only having been introduced officially into London as recently as June.

I am still wondering as to how we will fare in terms of not having eyes in the back of our head.

You know what they're like they don't care if you did it or not or you didn't see passengers do it, you're responsible so give them you're hard earned
