Man lay in front of taxi in Brighton and pretended it had hit him A man who lay in front of a taxi and claimed it had hit him has been fined for wasting police time. The 50-year-old was seen by several members of the public damaging a tree and then laying down in front of a taxi claiming the taxi had hit him. During both incidents in New Road, Brighton, he was verbally abusive to the taxi driver and members of the public who were looking on. He also made two phone calls to the emergency services and had two police officers and three ambulance crew dealing with him for more than 45 minutes. The ambulance crew then had to take him to hospital in the end as he became unresponsive. But he was discharged a short time later following medical examinations. The man, from Brighton, was fined £80 for wasting police time. PC Jimmy Conway said: "This was an appalling waste of two emergency service's time. “This individual took up valuable police and ambulance time at a particularly busy part of the evening, potentially putting Brighton and Hove residents in danger due to his thoughtless acts." The incident took place on Sunday, July 15, at 11pm. http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/9835275. ... d_hit_him/ |

Nah he'll be put straight back into the community but asked to voluntarily attend a few group therapy sessions. Then next time when he actually hurts someone then they'll do something about him ! |

About a dozen or more years ago another person laid in the middle of the road to try and get a taxi to stop for him. One cab drove over his head and squashed it. Can't really add to that.

At that point he just needs to hop aboard the LGBT train and head off on a Trangender Journey which would pretty much make Him or Her virtually untouchable as they wouldn't know where to place a neutrally sexed fruit and nutcase....

Well, if we endure much more of the Interfering do-gooders of the nanny state even those nutters released under care in the community schemes would probably relish the thought of the re-introduction of the good old fashioned loony bin where as residents they might find some sort of normality that eludes most people in our half baked loony lawed modern Britain. |
