Cab passenger is arrested4:41pm Thursday 26th July 2012 The passenger of a mini-cab was arrested after it crashed into the central reservation on a busy main road late at night.
A blue Peugeot 307, operated by V Cars, was in collision with the central reservation in Cricklade Road, close to Co-operative Funeralcare at around 11.20pm on Saturday, July 14.
Neither the 45-year-old driver nor the 31-year-old front-seat male passenger was injured, although the driver was shaken. The passenger, from Swindon, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, tampering with a motor vehicle and making off without payment. He was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
