Letters: Rude taxi driver ruined our day

THIS morning I dropped my husband off at Tamworth train station and when I was about to pull in front of a parked taxi, the taxi pulled out on me, so I beeped my horn to let him know I was there so he didn't go into the side of me!

My husband got out and I continued to drive home.

I then received a text off my husband to say that the taxi driver had given him a mouthful of abuse saying that if I couldn't drive a big car then I shouldn't.

Sexist? I think so! He was also told that the taxi driver could do what he wanted, so didn't have to indicate!

So there you go readers, be warned, when driving near taxi drivers, they can do what they want, so be on your toes in case they decide to turn or pull out without letting you know, as they don't have to indicate.

I wish now I had taken his number and reported him as it's people like this that cause accidents!

Email details supplied.

If that ruined her day, how about a government undermining the healthcare system, keeping our troops in a foreign land, homeless people sleeping on the streets - and the law commission trying to kill us?

I reckon this taxi driver was a newbe, I am sure a experienced taxi driver could have spoilt here day with a much better mouthfull. These people just think they can bleep there horn at a poor taxi driver waking him up and get away with it. Time for all taxi driver to pull together and show this type of person just what we are made of.

In point of fact, no taxi would be standing outside the station, the "rank" has been moved and all of the area outside the station is double yellows (no stopping)

so either she was stopped across the front of ranked-up hacks (on the left) or pulled across the front of a single hack dropping off... which frankly would annoy ANY driver

He could still have been less abusive it is usually far more effective putting the point across without expletives

one (4x4 driving snotty cow's) abuse is anothers (average taxi driver) gentle words...

as I say, to be "in front of" a taxi at tamworth station takes either a desire to block off a rank or the need to cut up 1 dropping off...

This lady is properly one of the spoilt lot who either has the use of the disabled or child & parents bays at the supermarket & expects the world to move just for them.
I say give here a mouth full to many spoilt butches in this world, when the revolution comes here type will be at the top of the list.
