Fake Bake boss facing lawsuit from businessman she sacked

ALAN LOVE - who was a director with the tanning firm - is alleged to have used the company to guarantee debts owed by his own business.

FAKE tan queen Sandra McClumpha is facing a lawsuit from a businessman she sacked.

Alan Love allegedly used McClumpha’s Fake Bake firm, where he was a director, to guarantee debts owed by his kitchens company Stone & Wolfe.

It’s claimed McClumpha fired him after he failed to explain the arrangement.

But Love has lodged papers at Hamilton Sheriff Court disputing the claims, and a hearing is due to take place next month.

He said yesterday: “There was a dispute over financial matters. It’s at a stage where we are trying to resolve it and reach an agreement.

“I don’t want to go into any more detail about it.”

Love is also alleged to have used Fake Bake to guarantee a £36,000 deposit for a Bentley – and set up a £1000 a month direct debit to pay for the car. He denies all wrongdoing. Fake Bake refused to comment.

Love had a stake in a private hire taxi firm where another shareholder was convicted heroin dealer Willie O’Neil.

He was also the sole shareholder of an art business run by O’Neil. O’Neil was accused three years ago of using the company to exploit troubled Scots artist Peter Howson.

McClumpha’s drug-dealing ex-lover Kevin Kelly was rescued by police this month after being kidnapped on the Costa del Sol.

I'd leave her looking like a nail bombing of a Muller Lite production line. 8)
