'Big fare rise'
10% equates to just under 20p/mile T1 and 40p/mile T2 (using their figures), hardly a big rise considering it's the first for three years.

At least a smaller rise will keep 'the customer' happy, sod the profit the main thing is the drunks and pensioners get home without it costing them too much. Plus a smaller rise will solve the problem of drivers working for less than minimum wage, all they have to do is increase the number of hours they do from 80 to 90 and they'll be quids in :wink:

it could reduce tax credit and housing benefit payments to slave drivers tho
