Blair Jenkins, chief executive of Yes Scotland, asks the question: "If Scotland was independent now, who would vote to join the United Kingdom?"

I'm not a member of the SNP and I don't take instructions from anyone.

Is it any more boring than the constant anti-Salmond, anti-independence and anti-Scottish drivel we are bombarded with from every newspaper, every TV channel and every radio station on a daily basis?

Is it too much to expect some sort of positive case for staying in the union? Too much to expect unbiased and professional journalism?
Why can't the NO people give us their vision of Scotland, should we stay in the union? All we ever get are scare stories, smears, lies and outright bullshit.

BTW Tone's question is a valid one. I'd even throw it open to the English.

If Scotland was an Independent country, would you vote for a union?

I suspect many millions would vote to join the UK.

It's a bit like all those extremists who slag off the USA, especially in Pakistan.

Offer each of them free USA citizenship and they would grab it with the speed of light.

I don't think that's a very good comparison.
This isn't some impoverished 3rd world country and England isn't the USA.

And if all this togetherness is so wonderful, why are the English so dead set against Europe?

I agree the comparison is a bit weak, but I like it none the less. :D

I would be interested to know how many Scottish born folks actually live in the rest of the UK.
