The sh*t is certainly going to hit the fan on this one unless he's got medical note, if he has one at all.

A York Hack Station Rank Master at the GNER taxi rank, refused to carry blind person and guide dog on the grounds that he is allergic to dogs. The press have been down the station most of the day

Will get the link out to you as soon as the item is uploaded to the net

Normally anyone with astma will be exempt but if he does have astma or perhaps an allergy to dogs he should have got a note from his Doctor and given it to the licensing department.

Interesting all the same.

There are exemptions from the DDA, but drivers have to get them before they refuse.

Perhaps the mush should be made to buy a WAV, then it wouldn't have such an effect.

That aside, guide dogs are nearly always cleaner than most of our two legged punters.

Heard the person concerned has been suspended, not known who suspended him, GNER or the Council as yet. It looks likes its gone to ground, nothing in the local papers, could this be an agreement with the press, council and GNER till Royal Ascot is over
