TAXPAYERS MONEY.
Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond stated categorically that he is completely and totally and double, double against any government regulation of the press. That was his stance until the Scottish Sun revealed that £500.000 of tax payer’s money was spent by Alex Salmond and a Scottish delegation on a junket to the Ryder Cup. His position has now altered slightly and he’s completely and totally and double, double for government regulation of the press. But only when it regards stories about the SNP Government p*ssing money away.
Salmond justified the £500.000 spend by saying that previous Scottish Labour governments spent more than that on Tartan Day. And here was me thinking that two wrongs don’t make a right. Seems two wrongs do make the SNP Government right.
