SCOTLAND’S REPUTATION?

Thanks to the SNP Government releasing the Lockerbie Bomber Scotland’s standing has dropped five places from number 8 to number 13 in the US’s list of most highly regarded countries.

13 might not sound too bad, but it is because Iran is number 11 and Yemen is number 12.

The fall came despite Alex Salmond [edited by admin] away £480.000 to go to the Ryder Cup in Chicago to suck up to the Americans and glad hand them with a “hello I’m Scotland’s First Minister, and by the way that Al Megrahi, what was he like eh? Him and his almost living forever stuff”. And the First Minister also attended the premier of Brave in Hollywood, but we did get away with that because most Americans think Scotland is in Ireland, so at least we could shunt at least part of the blame for letting Al Megrahi go onto the Irish.

Which Salmond did by telling Brave premiere goers “Al Megrahi, we never let him go, it was Ireland”.

The confusion geographically for the Americans is that us and the Irish are referred to as the Scotch Irish, no distinction is made or heeded, even Ireland’s Prime Ministers statements of of “look, releasing Al Megrahi had f*** all to do with us” has very little attention paid to them.

The Megrahi thing has got even worse for the SNP Government when emails were released under the Freedom of Information Act showing that the SNP Government wrote to a load of people asking them to endorse the release.

The list of people included Nelson Mandela, Bishop Tutu, Donald Trump, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli,Coco T Colonel Gadaffi, Osama Bin Laden, Cheryl Cole, McFly, the entire cast of River City, Kim Jong Il, Jedward and Jimmy Savile.

The email was titled; Come on, can a man not commit 270 wee mass murders without being labelled a mass murderer.

An SNP spokeswoman said “The Scottish Government was perfectly entitled to seek support from home and abroad for this decision”.

No it wasn’t, what Government makes a decision based on a celebrity opinion poll. No Government, apart from the Scottish Government, and they really aren’t a Government as such, they are more of daft tartan cult led by Alex Salmond, the David Koresh of Scotland.

And not a single taxi mentioned, nor a cabby, nor a privileged taxi licence holder?
