I'm not shocked that women would want to go to a strip bar. Where it's only going to be women parading their bits.

What I do wonder about though ... is why any guy would want to go to a strip bar with women in tow? What am I missing?

What does a guy get out of ogling women, with female friends in the company?

And, what do women think about these guys?

And, even if the females were lesbian, and I suspect they weren't, why would they visit a strip bar with guys?

I asked a group of lyoung girls going to a lap dance place once and they said they wanted to go to a strip club because its full of men. Can't fault that logic!

Same once many moons ago whilst I was still an engineer. One Valentines night on a Tuesday or Wednesday, after a 2-10 back shift a young workmates said to me "fancy going up town?" I said "nah, it'll be crap, it's midweek. It'll be quiet and its valentines night". "Exactly, all the girls we will meet are gonna be single"

Id put money on theyre all single and the girls are tagging along with there eye on one of the guys. So the guys are lapping it up.

I don't understand this.

Why would it be OK if you were the only girl in the group? And how would other females being in the group change things.

As for these girls being lesbians, I don't think they were. You can't necessarily tell anyone's sexuality from their outward appearance, although some identities are designed to signal it. But these girls appeared to me to be just girlfriends of the guys in the company, part of a group of friends.

And it occurs to me that I wouldn't want to take a female to see other females stripping.

I'm confused here.

If I was the only girl I wouldn't go to another bar on my own, it's that simple. If there were other girls and they didn't want to go to another bar I'd quite happily tag along to wherever. Watching lap dancers do their stuff means nothing and wouldn't necessarily stem the flow of conversation and giggles. It's just a bit of fun. Perhaps you're looking too deeply into this than is necessary
