A private hire company in Glasgow has had a court ruling against them so they can no longer use the fiat scudo as a PH
This was in today's record but cannot find it on line

It's hard to believe the ruling went against the Ph company in this instance. It's not like a Fiat Scudo is exclusively made for use as a taxi. It's simply another vehicle with multiple commercial and private uses, the begging light being the determining factor. #-o

They would be better running those vehicles as unlicensed 'executive' hire cars, maybe even respray them silver. Glasgow City Council along with neighbouring local authorities such as Renfrewshire Council seem to turn a blind eye to those services.
