Teenager charged with robbery of taxi driver in Shaggy Calf Lane


A TEENAGER has been charged over the robbery of a taxi driver.

Leano Fleming, of Moray Drive, Slough, has been charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.

The charges relate to the robbery of a taxi driver in Shaggy Calf Lane, Slough, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The taxi driver picked two men up outside Easy Gym, in High Street, Slough, at 6.30am.

During the journey one of the passengers pulled a gun and assaulted the driver.

The driver stopped the car in Shaggy Calf Lane, and after a scuffle the two passengers ran off towards Kendal Drive.

Cash was stolen from the driver, who was taken to hospital with head injuries. He was released on Saturday.

Fleming, 18, was arrested yesterday and is set to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court today.
