Central Taxis today successfully got the recent £31 million pound taxi contract overturned with the Judge (the honourable Judge Judy) saying "City Cabs and ECPH had no right to it for understanding the brief and delivering a twin strand taxi and PHC solution." Also it was announced today that Tony Kenmuir is to be made Chief Executive of The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce for his services to the wider business community. And further Mr Steven Malcolm and ECPH admitted they were skint and have dropped the £100,000 writ against both Central Taxis and Tony Kenmuir. A spokesperson for Mr Malcolm and ECPH said "we are sorry for ever doubting anything that is ever uttered from the hallowed premises in Gilmore Place." And more good news for Central. Today the Royal Bank waived the 30-40% discount on the taxi contract. A spokesperson said "due to the utterly brilliant negotiating of Central we were backed into a corner and have done what's best for the middle income cabbies of Gilmore Place." Then wee Tony woke up from his slumber, saw the time and noticed the date, 1st of April. Ah he muttered to himself "if only Carlsberg ran taxi companies." No it's not a dream MVF Kevin Wood and Tony (I am a business man) Kenmuir, it's the 1st of the month and you've 14 days to vacate the airport ya shower o fuds. Get painting the city centre ranks boys, make sure you use long lasting paint, something that'll last 5-7 years! |

Welcome back Fat yin. That's a belter! I bet some of the Central sheeple were believing that one!. I wonder if Mr Kennowt will be able to negotiate with the council to make a Central only taxi rank running the length of Princess St? That should allow for 40/45, it's where the other taxis are going to go that's the problem. A well thought out plan from CRT. 14 days and counting. Way to go CRT. I reckon the subs will be up to £160 a month soon.
